Mutual Admiration Society was founded by Carrie Nieman Culpepper, an award-winning journalist and editor who’s written about design, travel and culture for a wide range of publications. She began using those skills to shape the stories of creative businesses and share them through smart, targeted, traditional and social media campaigns.

Culpepper’s approach draws from her experiences in several areas of communications: She’s worked as an agency copywriter, editorial directed several websites including those for Citysearch and Aol, been an art school and museum publicist, led the arts section of a well-respected weekly paper and reinvented a shelter magazine as managing editor. Her strength lies in shaping your story and finding the right platform to share it.
